This is a photo I shot today of my cousin Michelle's little son, Jayden who decided his Grandmother (also my Aunt) needed some flowers, so he decided to pick some....

The poor fellow needs to go to the rose garden. Dandelions have a nice firm smell and are bright so they make excellent children's flowers. How can you ever explain they are a noxious weed? My grandmother never did. It was my father who offered me a penny for each head I picked and renegged when I filled two large grocery bags full that made the point.

Awwww...so precious! Great colors and such a sweet image. I remember picking them for my mother too :) We used to hold them under our chin to see who liked butter :) Thanks for the memories.
