Now I can see the engine has only one bank. I wonder if the radiator ornament is a hat in a ring. Doesn't look like a hat. The headlights still say 1926 Rickenbaker. The right hand drive says no unless the image is reversed. It isn't even an Audi. With quarter elliptics all around it sure isn't a Ford. With the position of the distributor and the breather and the starter as well as the look of the head I'd say it began as a Chevrolet inline six. The riding mechanic would know all this and it even has a required spare tire.
