Description

...from the other side of French mountain, Lake George, NY. Please note that any time you are in an area in the Northeast USA where you have a great abundance of wildflowers, and you get down in the grass/brush to do a macro...use DEET for an insect repellent AND check yourself carefully for deer ticks! (found one on me while taking these pictures, despite insect repellent). These very areas are favorites for deer, also... I know too many people who have caught Lyme disease and not been diagnosed until permanent damage has been done. I'll get off my soapbox now....LOL!

I think I always thought This was honeysuckle.. I learn so much here! Thank you so much for reminding us about the Lyme disease and the tics! Great advice and a beautiful photo. I hope your tic didn't get a chance to bite you and if it did, that you took it the doc's to make sure it's not the bad kind. :-/
