This caught my eye amidst a collection of nice renders, and why? Because of the wonderful use of the colour used. It's always difficult to decide which objects in a scene should be hard and which should appear soft, usually it's the background that appears soft, but in this case the figure appears soft. This doesn't always work in my opinion when there is a backround present, but this image is nicely balanced, and the eye is drawn into that of the main character. The only thing that I would change personally if you don't mind me saying FadeWillow, is the mist in the foreground, I would like it to be more subtle as it makes the lower part of the image a little too heavy. The main part that does it for me is the rusty coloured streaks in the flowing cape/clothing, that work wonderfully with the other shades of colour. Final word, if I haven't said too much already LOL, keep playing with it, you're doing something right. :-)
