Many times your work reminds me of the tarot...The Queen of swords, something I know a bit about personally...justice can be meaningful, or turn on one at times if taken internally or used self-righteously...The forest here is amazing, I would like to sit here and contemplate the nature of the swords. Wonderful image...

Beautiful image, Hew. The model displays a rather detached countenance which is so appropriate considering that Justice is blind. But another way of seeing justice is as karma. Or still another way, I look at justice as being tempered with mercy which gives Justice vision of the heart and soul of the one being judged. The result is something different from what people think of justice most of the time. You can pull these ideas and many others together and find reflective material for months or years. Another evocative image which I appreciate greatly. Hugs, Suzanne
