While visiting my mother in Australia I snapped this frogmouth owl,it was pitch black all I could see was the sihouette,I pointed my camera in the general direction,this is the outcome. Thanks for looking.

You were lucky to get a shot of these wonderful birds at night, you usually see them during the day sleeping in a gum tree, by the way there a Tawny Frogmouth, there a member of the night jar family not the owl, I have pictures of these in my gallery also info on them Stuart
