Description
The Cacti in Northern NM are starting to bloom. This one was especially pretty so I snagged a pic of it.
Unfortunately it's still a bit blown out. Even at the fastest shutter speed that my little camera has I still couldn't get it any better than this. And since the other people hiking with me were quickly heading along the trail I didn't have time to play with aperture settings.

Yup, under the glare of the open sky, sometimes you just got to do the best you can. This cactus sure was covered in blooms. Nice shot.
