Un regalo para todos mis amigos
Las águilas pedirán estrellas;
las palomas, nidos;
los sembradores, semillas, y yo,
con mi puñado de palabras,
con mi macizo de rosas contra el pecho
y con mis noches de sueños imposibles,
tendré que pedir un milagro:
"Que mis rosas se parezcan a tus rosas"
"Que mis frases se parezcan a tu verdad"
Deja un beso en el hueco de mi mano
para seguir repartiendo que, al final,
la cosecha no es más que volver a dar
lo que Tú nos regalaste.

A gift for all my friends
The eagles will ask for stars;
the doves, nests;
the sowers, seeds, and I,
with my handful of words,
with my clump of roses against the breast
and with my nights of impossible dreams,
will have to ask for a miracle:
" That my roses look like your roses "
" That my phrases look like your truth "
Leaves a kiss in the hollow of my hand
to continue distributing that, ultimately,
the crop is not any more that to return
to give what You gave us.

LA MUSA MNEMOSINE
La musa de la pintura es Mnemosine, que significa "memoria".
El sentido de hacer un cuadro es conservar un recuerdo,
generalmente un gesto. Es una lucha contra el
tiempo, contra la historia y a favor de la memoria.
Es la Musa de la Plasmación o de la Creación en sí, pues
se encarga de darle forma concreta a las ideas abstractas,
Se considera que la obra artística sólo tiene existencia
o "vida" en el momento en que se está creando,
pues es durante este proceso cuando dicha obra crece y se
modifica. Con ella se materializan las ideas
que han salido de la imaginación
