Thoth, the ancient Egyptian god credited with the invention of writing, and thus, literacy...as a science fiction reader and writer, I'd naturally feel an affinity to him, especially since he also had the head of a scarlet ibis...a rather cool if moody bird! I love this render, it looks intriguingly mysterious and wonderfully realistic. I'm not exactly a great fan of the Stargate franchise (I like the movie original better than the spin-off shows) but I'll have to say that this could easily fit within the framework of that show, though it might exceed the budget allowed. Oh well...at least I get to see it here, where there are no budget (or plot) constraints. This is great work.
