Description

In search of Umauma Falls. Just continuing a little up the river from my last post. A little slippery in some areas but I did past this area. My camera settings was all wrong and I didn't bring my glasses. Will have to fix that on my return trip. Aloha and thank you for viewing

I think this is a nice capture. Dark and moody while still refreshing. An excellent shot for an accidental!

Cool how the shadow at the bottom and the tree at the top frame the sunny area in the middle. Maybe not quite what you'd planned, but it came out great!

This is perfect, Errol. If you opened it up any the water would be too bright. I was going to say something about you not having your glasses, but I forgot what it was. :-)

Ahhh, the glasses thing. I know about that. In my aging state of mind I sometimes get out of bed in the morning and forget to grab them as I head to the kitchen for coffee... but it doesn't take long to realize the reason my vision is so blurring is not because I'm not all woke up yet, but because I forgot to "put my eyes on." :-) Nice "secret" shot.

Still, a lovely peekaboo shot. I love the shadowy surrounds with the brightly lit stream in the center.

Sometimes wrong settings can give unexpected results. Interesting shot, gives a feel of a secluded and private place with it's own circle of sunshine.

Your right about not getting any better with time, I find the memory is no better with time, good capture considering your lack of vision Stuart
