Description

A model that was created a year ago rendered newly in maya 8 with little photoshop retouch. The real and the final is the same technique, occlusion and reflective renders merged together in photoshop, but the final is a little variation playing with tone, colors and saturation...hope you like it. Bye.

Looking good right now, but i think it'd look a lot better if you work some more on the textures.

Is that Khyron's battlepod from "Robotech"? I'm such a nerd...

Thanks for all your comments, the robot is from battletech, from the original marauder, it has a lot of bonnes and works perfectly, the textures are my weakness, could you teachme a bit...xD. Bye

If you are going for a hyper-realistic effect then yes you need some more work on the textures. Totaltextures and marlin studios sell some brilliant texture collections especially when it comes to metals, but on the whole I feel that what you've chosen works well. It all comes across more as a stylistic choice than a lack of texturing knowledge. Brilliant work.

I like the image and the model itself, in fact, I like it a lot, but I must assume that I have very little knowledge about texturing and lack of patience and time...xD Thanks for comments and bye, see you
