HOMENAJE A CALÍOPE
Con tu magia la muerte huye asustada,
porque eres inmortal adentro del alma.
Tu paso triunfal deja las memorias aladas,
y contigo el recuerdo se alarga en calma.
Con tus ojos pintas el dulce trazo y los renglones
con tus manos de diosa, hechicera que vence
el tiempo, las voces y el rostro de civilizaciones.
Ya no habrá reloj torturador que la edad trence.
Con tu esencia en el alma, y tu postura agraciada,
nadie se convierte en polvo, el abandono es nada.
La inspiración de tu brillo es siempre de diamantes.
Los héroes del axioma serán tus confidentes.
Contigo, eterna soberana, nada ha de sucumbir,
sólo en los corazones puedes eterna subsistir.

(Excuse my English, I used a translator)
With your magic the death flees frightened,
Because you are immortal inside the soul.
Your triumphant step leaves the winged memories,
And with you the memory is extended in calm.
With your eyes you paint the sweet line and the lines
with your hands of goddess, magical that conquers.
The time, the voices and the face of civilizations.
No longer there will it be clock tormentor that the age braids.
With your essence at heart, and your position graced,
Nobody becomes dust, the abandonment is swum.
The inspiration of your shine is always of diamonds.
The heroes of the axiom will be your confidants.
With you, eternal sovereign, nothing should succumb,
Only in the hearts you are able eternal to subsist.

En la mitología griega, Calíope �la del bello rostro�) es la musa de la poesía épica y la elocuencia. Se le representa con las características de una muchacha de aire majestuoso, llevando una corona dorada, emblema que según Hesíodo indica su supremacía sobre las demás musas. Se adorna con guirnaldas, llevando una trompeta en una mano y un poema épico en la otra.

In the Greek mythology, Calíope ' that of the beautiful face ') is the muse of the epic poetry(poem) and the eloquence. He is represented by the characteristics of a girl of majestic air, taking a golden wreath, emblem that according to Hesíodo indicates his(her,your) supremacy on other muses. It(he,she) makes up with garlands, taking a trumpet in a hand and an epic poem in other one.
