Description
This was taken on the same day as the other photos I've recently submitted (May 2007). It's of the Cloisters in Winchester College, a VERY prestigious 700 year old boys' boarding school. The gates happened to be open when I went past - giving me a view of the Cloisters behind them. In the wall around the white archway you can see the flint, stone and brick building material which is a widespread and very distinctive feature of my home county's architecture.
