There are some works that warrant a longer look. This is one of them. At first it doesn't seem to be up to much, but when you expand it you realise that in fact this is a masterpiece. The sense of violence and high-powered action is almost palpable and screams 'WARFARE!!' at high volume. A very impressive piece of work despite being in a gallery that I don't frequent. My only gripe - and it is a minor grip - is that the spent shell casings should look shiny and new as in our world. 10 out of 10 for this however. A first class piece of work!

Superb looking mechs! Those are some big shell casings coming from the guns as well. I expect the mechs can't carry many rounds but each one packs a big punch. Once again, the techniques and effects you use create such a believable feeling of chaotic combat, such as the the bright lighting for the tracers, the scratchy, peeling translucent wallpaper effect and the colour contrast.

The shell casings really add to the image. It's the little details that are everything :-)
