Back to the Texel island..
When I look at this place.. this historical place.. (the farmhouse for instance was built in the 17th Century) it is not so difficult to realize how it was when my ancestors walked here..or at a place like this. One can almost feel the history when looking like places like this.
The photograph is taken nearby the main village of the island called Den Burg

It brings back memories of some of the little town outside Hamburg with similar architecture as here, of course I am talking decades ago, mid fifties. Truth be know, I would not mind living here it appears very peaceful. Certainly a different pace of life. Thank you for sharing. egmont
