Description

This shot was taken late one afternoon on our way back from Newcastle via the Alston road (not one to be tried in deepest winter!. It was difficult to fully capture the atmosphere at that moment; storms brewing and a feeling of great loneliness.

I only see a place that needs to be filled. No loneliness. empty benches in secluded spots are full of so much we cannot see. wonderful shot with great vista.
