Description
What a surprise today, not only did the sun finally come out but this roadrunner came meandering through my backyard! I've only seen 2 or 3 around here and usually without my camera (they don't hang around long) so I am so pleased to have gotten this shot of him/her!!!
I hope you're all haveing a wonderful weekend (poop, I gotta work tomorrow).

Awesome shot Manning, I missed one yesterday by just 20 MPH, couldn't get the car stopped quick enough ran across the road in front of me, LOL. Wonderful detail, great clearity, beautiful!!!!

I know that Roadrunners are a good make of car, but I have never seen the bird before except as a cartoon. Are they as fast? Lovely bird and fantastic shot!

I have seen many on Oklahoma and Texas highways but they were always running and I was going 70.the two does not work for pictures. excellent one chance capture

THIS IS AN AMAZING CAPTURE. IT ALWAYS AMAZES ME THAT A LOT OF YOU GET THESE WONDERFUL CAPTURES. I GUESS A CAMERA IS HANDY OR OUT AND FILM IS ALREADY IN THE CAMERA. MY DIGITAL (YUCK) NEEDS WARMED UP AND IS NOT FAST SO I MISS A TON OF GOOD SHOTS. ALSO THE DIGITAL CAMERAS EAT BATTERIES UP SO FAST. YOUR GALLERY IS GREAT. I LOVE SO MANY OF YOUR SHOTS, YOUR ARTWORK.
