Description

This photo was taken the day Clare and myself decided to walk from Whitby to Robin Hood's Bay over the cliffs. It did not look too far on the map, but it's a grueling 6 miles up and down very steep inclines. The walk was very worth it. This was the day we met the Lovely "Rainbows & SirDavid" Perched dramatically on the cliff top, Whitby Abbey is a magnificent reminder of the early church

You did the Abbey proud, dear David. I love to walk up here. Such peace and history in this place a very special feeling. The walk is indeed grueling!! You needed that cup of tea when you got to my house :-) A wonderful capture. We will walk with you next year. Hugs. Diane.
