BIO
I went to Edinburgh College of Art in the seventies. I wove tapestries for years and paint in oils. I like photography, learning classical guitar and lacemaking. I enjoy cycling, walking, reading, films.

I envy you being able to get this shot. I chased around my garden like some demented woman after a bee the other day and, would it stay still enough for me to shoot, no it would not!!! Great shot!

A good capture, Rozanne. An engrossed bee, and a delicate pink flower. Bees are usually too fast for me. The double vision does not help, mind you. I did see some monster Spanish bees at Fuengirola last year. There are some bees up here at the moment but not as many, and no 'humblebees' at all. On the other hand I have yet to see a wasp! Enjoy the sunshine. Yet again our Sunday was a washout. That's seven in a row. Six christenings and the children's First Holy Communion. In the latter case the rain just spitted till the outdoor photos were quickly taken, then everyone rushed for the gazebo/marquee, or for their cars, or back into the 'big copper umbrella' i.e. the church.
