What a wonderful looking road. Over where my dad lives and I used to live we had a very long road that when tru the town and it was full of big Oat trees down the center and a road on each side. But it was only one lane going each way. Then in the mid or later 70's that needed more room for cars so up went all the trees so they could have a 4 lane road with two lanes going each way. It was needed but it was also a great lost because it was a beautiful back then.
