Description
The bee woman at work...
INFO:
The Krainer Biene, bears the characteristic gray bands on its abdomen. The queen bee is very fecound, it begins to lay early and ceases late in autumn.
The families spend the winter well, but they are inclined to swarm. Among all the species, it possesses the longest proboscis. Therefore it remains active even with less favourable flora, when other species desist. It is also very laborious, for this it gained world reputation.
In several countries, Germany for instance, it has been introduced as the second most important species.
They can produce 30-60 kg honey every year...
The working bees are OLNY the ladies...it's a lady society..
Wish you all a wonderful day... night... evening??? lol
anyhow..
take care:)

If all the worker bees are ladies, I'd hardly call it a lady society! Sounds like the men got it all figured out. So how'd they do it? What do they know that we don't and what do they do all day. The ladies though must be busy as a . . . bee. Wonderful collection!
