Just thought I'd try something a little different. (I like my pictures to tell some sort of a story). This may ring bells somewhere
because I'm sure a lot of the participants are still around.

I imagine it will bring back memories. Land reminds me of the Aleutians campaign in Alaska.

Not for very much longer. WWII vets number in the tens of thosands and dropping fast. There are only a handful of WWI vets left on the planet last Veterans Day NPR did a documentary of surviving WWI veterans and they could only find 16 left. Even figuring some WWII vets were under 18 still puts them close 80 years old today. Thank you for the image... excellent work on it.
