Description

I did this painting with Prisma colored pencils and white acrylic paint. I couldn't get the pencils to do a bright enough white. It is 16" X 20" on mat board.

Thanks, Atreju, Juca and Hexagon. I appreciate the comments over this colored pencil painting. I tried some other colored pencils that are oil based along with the Prisma, which are waxed base, and I think they helped with the darker colors. Hugs, Lorraine

One way to get that bright white you were looking for is to start with a very white ground, ( leaving the white in your pic blank )....or use a very very dark one and then the white pencil will pop. But your solution worked out really well. Lovely work, here.
