Those are really nice! Just watch out for ick.... I can never get them home and keep them alive. Looks like you have the answer! :) You might consider taking the image into photoshop and pumping up the contrast on the blue so it looks a little more 'glowy.' Ever see a Cardinal Tetra? They look almost the same, but have more pigment and get up to two inches long. :)

very nicely done!! when you import obj,s into bryce after importing click the E and the round thing in smothe. this will remove those lines in your fish.(and other objects,3ds,etc) some pictures showing how: http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?p=626241#626241
