Hi All, sorry if I didn't comment on your posts, but I have been away for some days..I had a little vacation, for the first time since 5 years. I went to the county "Zeeland" to the village Kortgene ( near Vlissingen/Goes), and enjoyed the beauty of this part of my country ! Veerse Meer was before 1953 directly connected to the North Sea, but closed , after the huge disaster in 1953. It is wonderful how allmost all the islands of Zeeland have been connected with dams and bridges, and made much safer against the sea, Wonderful ! juliette photo taken wit a simple HP318

It looks very beautiful! Did you go fishing or swimming, or is it too cold? What was the disaster of 1953? I'm glad you finally got a vacation. We haven't had one in 5 years, but maybe later this year in the fall when the weather cools down. Thanks for the peek! (:
