Description

Back from a fatal Harddrive loss I started to play with Mojo. here the FG to create the terrain reminded me of the seashores when the low ebbing tidesleave strange formations in the sands. Default Boulders added & Mojo plants as if to replicate a form of seaweed/grass. I wasnt sure if more was needed ie: shells or other items as the overall image looks a bit clinical but I settled for the softness & pastel shades with strong contrast of a minimalistic features. Terrain created by Distorted Noise using Sine only. Set both basis to Sine & use 3, 6 in the respective scales. Edit the curve to MaxIn 0.5 Mirror. The rest you can play with :) TFV&C W

Great job, i like this one over your Koi garden woz. All the colours look spot on and i like the way the seaweeds look glued to those pebbles/boulders, as they would be on a real seashore, though maybe they would be lying a little flatter against the sand, a minor quip though that is.. Perhaps some little seashells would add some more interest, if you can find some on the web..? You could try using Xenodream, you can make great shell shapes with that program and its just had an update, i may even have a few Xenodream shell meshes on my HD, i'll have a look. Alternatively i know Alex Niko and JB also use Xenodream, maybe they might have some shell meshes they could give you.?

Thanks Shaun. "Shell em out guys" :-) The seaweed I tried laying flatter but bits stuck out through the terrain which looked wrong but I appreciate the comment:)

Nice work Warren! I like a material of surface and a texture of stones! But water... I think if to increase its transparency it would be more interesting.. IMHO. And i agree with Shaun :)

Excellent work Woz!!.....very cool beach/shallows shapes...superb sandy mats!!...you could get carried away adding shells & such like but the addition of more color might not work IMHO....what about adding a few more of the same boulders (but much smaller) to a few of the existing ones?...in other words varying the number of boulders in each little dip would add more detail without affecting the "Minimilistic" look to much....^_^... BTW did you get the mail with your FG planets in??

Very cool, some of these new things with Mojo are quite offputing. I'm still stuck at version 2 with and use no elaborate plugins. I'm a bit lost ! :-)
