MÚSICA
Oh, música que vienes entre tules,
desde un paisaje de cumbres azules,
avanzas en oleadas de vasta dulzura.
Inundas mis praderas de ternura.
Mezclas con dócil y ardiente cascada,
te iluminas sobre álamos y colinas,
y avanzas, avanzas, acompasada.
Llenas mi alma de alabanzas cristalinas.
A veces me parece oír en tus acordes
castos clarines, o verbos, o tambores,
nobleza, diluvio, audacia, trasbordes,
Eres estrella de rosas para mis albores.
Oh, misteriosa y avasalladora dulzura,
con permanente suavidad de caracola.
Emblema de extraordinaria blandura.
Componiendo notas se volvió amapola
Campo de espigas doradas de alegrías
invades mis letras con dulces matutinas
Inúndame siempre con tu armonía,
sobre la paz enardecida de mis colinas

Euterpe
En la mitología griega, Euterpe ( "La muy placentera", "La de agradable genio" o "La de buen ánimo") es la Musa de la música. Como las demás Musas era hija de Mnemosine y de Zeus. Por lo general se la representa coronada de flores y llevando entre sus manos el doble-flautín. En otras ocasiones se la representa con otros instrumentos de música: violines, guitarras, tambor, etcétera. A finales de la época clásica se la denominaba musa de la poesía lírica.

chaste buglers, or verbs, or drums,

Euterpe
In the Greek mythology, Euterpe ("The very pleasant one", "that of pleasant genius" or "that of good spirit") is the Muse of the music. As the other Muses was a daughter of Mnemosine and of Zeus. Generally it he is represented crowned of flowers and carrying among his hands the double-piccolo. In other occasions it he is represented with other instruments of music: violins, guitars, drum, etc. To ends of the classical epoch it he was called muse of the lyrical poetry.
