Very cute character and nice image! The skin texture is wonderful! My only suggestion to improve it would be adding a bit more light on the lower half: she seems without feet now. Very natural pose!

This is a wonderful piece ... I usually don't care for the Manga characters but I love her expression. It's unfortunate that D/S doesn't do displacement maps the jeans and shirt would "pop" out more realistically, but the mood and expression are wonderful.

beautiful combination of elements. very peaceful. great use of lighting to set apart the foreground and background elements. the colors are very soft, and a very interesting combination of rich elegance and light playfulness. and the girl's pose is very natural and relaxed. the only weak points i can see come from the elements themselves. the arms and neckline of the sweater seem oddly disorted in this position. the only solutions i can think of are postwork (liquify tool in photoshop), export to another program and morphing, or clothifying the top when d|s comes out with dynamic clothing. the hair is very nice style and color, but the painted highlights conflict with the scene's lighting. bagginsbill showed how you can edit a texture in photoshop to reduce speculars and get a greyscale map. he then used poser shaders to make different colors of hair, but you could probably do something similar the same with diffuse color and liquid rust's settings in d|s. this piece is very strong, and projects a calm mood very clearly. very nicely done.
