Description

So my family is a bunch of science/space buffs if you will and since we could not get tickets to view the actual Space Shuttle Atlantis launch at Kennedy Space Center (I was afraid it would be to much for the little ones ears even being 5 miles away) we watched it from the front yard. Not the best picture I know but I had to run back inside and grab the camera as an after thought..LOL Anyway thanks for looking.. they made it up in 1 piece.. heres hoping that they have no issues on the way back down in 11 days!

I have never seen a shuttle launch, nor any other launch for that matter, dispite being born and raised in southern Florida. Thank you so much for sharing this image, it has the feel of being there!
