Went to a pity party today
Nobody was invited
Sure was lonely
Teary eyes came along
And went by the stream
All daylong
Loneliness
Not responding
Seems to be the topic
Floating around
Sure could use a laugh
Me lonely eyes cry
Blue is a nice color
Now and then
Running thru the rivers
Wild flames shoot across
Within my teary eyes
A soul needs...
A shoulder
From time to time
Went to a pity party instead
Nobody was invited

My wife and I went to a Chinese resturant last nite. When the check came I opened my fortune cookie.BEing the smart as I am I said it says you will find true love and eternal happiness with your 2cd wife.She opened hers and read you wont have to fake it with next husband :)) Love ya

I would like to have been at you party even though nobody was invited....So many days I sit and cry and miss my husband...Now I'm reliveing what happened one year ago today....he died July 14....So many times I want to hold someone and just sob...I hate being lonely....Thank you for adding my husband's drawing to your favorites.
