there is a stark quality to the image.. a sense of weariness to the woman, and a defiant I will not give up to the man... really great scene... the landscape has a starkness and dark quality to it... a few desolate barren trees in the background would give it an even better effect... and some rocky texture to the ground... like it hasn't had rain or any living thing for a long time ....
