Description
Shot taken in February this year. I have wanted to post this shot for a while. I was restless one early morning, I walked to the top of the Bay with my camera. I met their a South African man I had never seen before. He like me wanted to greet the dawn. I will probably never ever meet his again yet we shared this glorious dawn together. On leaving we shook hands, he wished me well. It is strange how people drift into our lives and drift out again, like the sea itself. Hugs, Diane.

When sitting and watching a sunrise, I always take the time to greet the day properly, with respect and by thanking the creator for letting me see one more sunrise. I have a Cherokee song I sing and have taught it to my eldest grand daughter. When she and I go camping, we sing our song together as the sun comes up. Before long, we have many other campers standing with us watching the sunrise and all will join in with the song. Its a wonderful way to meet people and a wonderful way to start the day. This is a beautiful photo and I love the light streaming with the deep amber colors. I am so glad you had a good meeting with a stranger. He will remember you for a very long time as well.
