Description
This guy was a lot of fun to shoot yesterday. Actually there were 2 dragonfly's, and they were taking turns on this stick -- one would fly off, the other would come. I kept my camera aimed and focused knowing that stick wouldn't be vacant long. I thought I'd crop this one way down; as I think it's the best closeup I have ever gotten so far on a critter, where you can see the details of his eyes like this. TOO COOL imo. :)

it is an exceptional macro especially head on like this.I am impressed.they do seem to be creatures of habit. if I scare one away,I stay put and usually they will return to their favorite place

How much do you pay them to pose like this for you? I will double it. This is just Awesome! I have never seen better of that I am sure. Another excellent capture, you father was a good teacher, and you an A* student.
