We need to accept the good with the bad. RR is not a pefect place and yet it is a community of individuals who share two things, the pleasure of creativity and making friendships. i'm a huge admirer of so many artists on here, but it's hard to comment and see everyones uploads everyday as i am sure you all, like me, have busy lives, but i try my best and as i said to me it's not a competiton, it's a way of meeting new friends from around the world and get a brief incite into everyones lives and lifestyles ...whenever a new member joins our RR family, it's so nice to see everyone make them feel welcome, that's what it's all about...no barriers, no beliefs, just art!

Sure some member knows how to spoil a fun. Never mind, this shot...remind me of all of us here on Rendo....same pattern - same interest.

Fist..this is an excellent abstract.. Second..I greatly dislike ANY rating system..I don't allow my images to be rated, and I do not rate ANY images..

no one knows what your rating is and they do not count until after 5. many people have personal issues in their life and let it run over here.others just enjoy being negative. this is my escape from those issues and want to keep the two separated.I have never read any negative comment from you on anyone's gallery, so I think they are over reacting

Absolutely fantastic abstract and such wonderfull colors!

This is an awesome image! It took me a minute to figure out what it was. Very cool! I love the shapes and the light. Nice composition! I don't mind the ratings system. What I DO mind is when people give me a low rating and don't say why. I want to grow and improve as an artist, amd it isn't CONSTRUCTIVE criticism if someone says only nice things about my work and then gives it a low rating. Saying something like "Minus 1 point for clarity" would be quite useful. Otherwise you're just a sniper in the bushes.

wonderful image. I have wondered about some of the people I view and comment on. Sometimes it seems I might not like what they are doing but my rating and my comments are all aimed at what I know the photographer is capable of. If I know they can do better because I've seen a higher quality, then I will lend a suggestion or point out something I would have done different. I only view works that I enjoy as well. This is a very interesting abstract, BTW.

if you put a negative and a postive together you get shock. hahahahaah I love your work and the rateing stuff is broken anyway. To me you comments and that a plus for me. I got a image in my gallery that not too many people comment on and not too many people looked at here. It won second in 1971 the Southern states art show in Shereport, La.[they say it was very tough judges too] It hanging at my dads house and the local hight school art teacher would bring his sturdents to look at it every year. So the rateing and veiws even do not make this site good . It the people here and all the friends I made. Hope to make more. hope you one too[I know you are] I just happy to see so many diff art here and they can see mine. I like a little kid that runs in and put a image on the ice box so people in the house can see it.

Love the lines of this piece .. makes for an awesome pattern, awesome abstract. Negative, yes, but in a lovely way, Negative isn't always a bad thing, LOL! Personally, I could care less about the ratings. I rate if the option is there, I favorite stuff I really like. If I don't REALLY like it, I don't favorite it. Commenting and favorting is just my way of letting the artist know I really like something they did. I too think the system is broke, and the "voting" or rating is just so much baloney.

Nice abstract very apt colouring for title lol. keep up the comments, as for myself i think it's the comments people make that help with my photography as they will see something i miss or help to improve and influence my next shots not the ratings which i've not even thought about until i read your comment lol. I would rather a a positive or critic POV than a rating as that is much more helpful, to me anyway. Keep up the good work.
