Description

Hello to you all hope that you had an excellent weekend! Simulacrum noun (plural -ra) image; sembalance; vague likeness; sham Rosin is a yellowish to amber material, translucent, hard, brittle, fragmented resin left after distilling the oil of turpentine from the crude oleoresin of the pine: used chiefly in making varnishes, varnish and paint driers, printing inks, and for rubbing on the bows of such string instruments as the violin. I know sounds like I swallowed a dictionary today. Many thanks to all of you who viewed and/or commented on my last image!

Very cool colours, the light makes some very interesting patterns through this subject....the carving, such as it is, is kinda cool too, reminds me of some tiger-ish gargoyles

Yes, scary but with a beauty of its own. Fabulous lighting effects and POV in this shot, Mr Spooner! One caveat though: if that rosin ever melts, the monster will be released upon the townsfolk and there will be terrible carnage.
