Beautiful image, I love the the reds and burgandy in this image. I have been lamenting in Nod myself as the sleep fairy has not been sprinkling any dust around here ;) Excellent and striking image Hewsan!

Fantastic surreal image, Hew. The concept is expansive. However, to me, the sense of separation and wandering come to my mind from scripture. I can see the lamentation caused by separation from one's roots and inheritance, even if caused by one's own actions. Here I see those lamenting the loss of the one's banished, and the pain of the stigma associated to those cut off and wandering. A real heartbreaking image in that respect, Hew. Then there is Steinbeck's "The East of Eden"...and James Dean...swoon! LOL Hugs, Suzanne
