Description

Digging into another one of my long neglected folders, I came up with this scene of serenity for all to view and marvel at. Captured 12/11/05 at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Gardens, located on the lovely north campus of California State University Long Beach. Happy day to one and all, and enjoy yourself, it's later than you think.

Lovely colours and lighting in this one Harry and the reflections are beautiful. I love Japanese gardens and this one is no exception. Brilliantly composed. Hope you're having a great week. xx

Its very lovely but I can't help but super-impose our weather on this and seeing that it has no big shade trees over this part of the gardens, I can only sit and sweat buckets imagining how hot that sun beating down on all that rock and water must be... Nice compo for sure and a very peaceful and tranquil shot.

Hey, MrsLubner, this is not Sacramento, with its killer summer heat, but Long Beach, not far from the cooling breezes of the ocean. Also, not shown in this photo are shade trees surrounding the garden and offering some protection from the sun.
