I am so pleased to be a member here at Renderosity. For me Renderosity is much more than a place to display my works. I have made many friend's here. I take so many photographs but I do not like to have my own photograph taken.. I actually like this shot. I say a huge thank you, to My Goha for postworking this shot for me. The original shot was taken up at my friend's house. He put this wonderful swing in the largest tree on his land! Iccle pushes me up so high!! The swing is over precipice, so not for the faint hearted... but such fun.. I love to be at their house and feel like a child again on this swing. I will tell you why I choose my RR name, "Rainbows". When my niece Victoria was a very little girl, she used to say to me.. Auntie DiDi "I love you, all the world and rainbows". I love her just as much as she loves me. She is older now and our love for each other is so strong. A beautiful day is wished for you all. Hugs. Diane.

I'm sure Kat will love this one but she has just gone to bed rather pleased with herself having just found out that she has successfully completed her two year Animal Management course!! This is a brilliant capture and so clear considering it was raining and all!! The colours are brilliant and it's definitely a fave for me (I'll show Kat tomorrow - but you can bet she'll love it as she always loves your photography!). Big Hugs. xx

Great shot Di. My title might have been "Udder bliss". Despite the rain, the photo has great colours and plenty of light. It's a lovely country scene.

Thank you all for comments. The tree is a Hawthorn, these trees were on famer's land. Old I think but not huge in stature. As Bonita says, struggling for sustenance on this poor pasture. The roots fascinated me too. We call the blossom of the Haw "May blossom" in Yorkshire. Na night. Hugs Diane.

There's a legend about the roots. They are really driads, at night by the light of the full moon they whirl like dervishes around the pasture. The roots sometimes don't make it home before dawn, because they love the dance so much they wait until the final second. It's a rare and lovely treat to see Bossy at her leisure awaiting the sun's return. Thanks. I love Sir David's title. Best to you both. BJ

This is amazing and fun. The flat lighting due to the rain really helps the cow jump out at the viewer. (not that it's hard to miss a cow!) Good work.
