Description

Was combing through my photo archive for some photos for a contest, and stumbled across this one. One of the last photographs I took with my medium format camera and perspective correction lens. An interesting sidenote, this photo was taken in my childhood hometown. The grain elevator burned down less than a month after I took this series of photos with it as the subject and I have the last known photographs of it that didn't involve a lot of flames. I wish I had been on hand to photograph THAT, but my lack of fiery photography should prove I'm not a pyro. Thanks for looking. As always, comments and critiques are welcome. Always looking to improve my work, both the photography and post work. JJ

I love the perspective of this shot and the sky is amazing with all those big fluffy clouds!! Shame about the grain elevator though, but at least you have a capture before it's demise!! Great shot. xx
