Description

Hello friends on RR :) On our vacation we visited the house of Hans Christian Andersen in Odense. I am sure most of you know who he was. A famous danish fairytale writer. Here you have a little collage from the museum. Thanks for your visit and for your so sweet and kind comments to my landscape upload yesterday :))) Have a lovely day.

Wonderful collage! When you mentioned where you were going on vacation, I was hoping for an interesting museum shot. This is a wonderous bounty! The building is charming, and I love the way the light falls on the statue. Nice captures, all!

Gorgeous collage... I adore because when I was child, I have read all the tales of Andersen and I still remember that I liked so much to be afraid by reading them... that excellent memories bring your photograph thank you very much to me...!

How very interesting. I remember years ago there was a Hollywood movie done about his life - I think Danny Kaye was in it. Maybe Van Johnson... I get their movies mixed up sometimes - anyway, I was so interested in where he wrote these twisted tails and what might have prompted them. Very interesting photos! Good job.

Yes MrsLubner, it was Danny Kaye and I remember the film very well. I tell you I weeped like a baby, when he sang the tune from the ugly duckling. I never could heare or see that feirytale, (even a cartoon) without weeping. even today I do it every freeking time. DOH :-///
