Yep, another Blurstraction. I'm hooked, what can I say? :o) Some of you have asked how easy they are to capture, and I admit that I'm fortunate if I get 3 out of 10 worth showing. That said, using the proper technique under optimal conditions can greatly improved the results. You can just make out palm trees and the indistinct shape of vehicle. The rainy weather and late time of day gave this an underwater color cast. As is usual for these images, my only manipulations are cropping, orientation adjustment, clean up of hot pixels, noise minimizing, and color/value enhancement. And of course framing. This one makes me think of Alkaseltzer tablets slowly dissolving as they are dropped into a glass of water. Also the lights here remind me of hooks, only bent a bit in the middle. Does anyone have any idea why some lights appear to be solid streams while others appear in dots? My personal guess is the dotted ones might oscillate (though appearing always on to the naked eye) whereas things like headlights are always on full burn. Just a thought... ------

I agree with your dotted light theory, just invisible to us, maybe the pulse is what drive moths crazy ? Imagine being "Mothra" trying to drive home from work !!! Another interesting blurstraction, which seem to have you...hook, line and sinker ! ~Cheers~ :o)

This one makes me think of dancers. Beautiful! Really interesting process, Kort. Thanks for sharing that. But what if the oscillating lights were oscillating after all. What if there was some kind of subliminal messaging going on to brainwash drivers into behaving themselves. :DDD Hugs, Suzanne

They look a bit like cartoon ears to me, lol. The great thing about abstracts is that our interpretations of them, tell us a bit about ourselves, as well as pleasing us visually. Well done, Kortalouche.

Well Kort, now I see you're a man who likes a few beers at night - you have obviously watched far too many Alka Seltzer settle if this reminds you of that!!! I can see the blurred car and the palm trees in this one, which is rather cool! Another great blurstraction. xx
Nameless_Wildness
