Description

Here is another shot of this guy with his wings in the backward stroke. I took these images with a Canon 20D, 70-300mm Sigma telephoto lens, while squatting and balancing on only my two feet. The camera was on full auto. Lighting conditions were about 30 minutes before full dark. Sigma lenses do not have image stablization like a lot of Canon lenses do.

While my giant aloe was in bloom I had hummingbirds all over them. Now that its over, I can hardly get them to come up to the feeders just feet away. Wonderful shot!
