Description

greetings...:). this is my recent, digitally painted work, "Plains of Paradise - Far from concrete jungle". a break from those other landscapes/city scenes, that i was busy with for some time lately and because i wanted to paint something traditional, in an impressionistic manner, i painted this landscape...:). i did consult refs some days ago, (only for the construction, that i even changed according to my requirements) before starting this. what u are seeing here is all scratch, self-visualized, my own composition. painted using tablet, in artrage. i hope u all enjoy this as much as i enjoyed painted it...:). thanks for dropping by...good day. regards, waheednasir. www.waheednasir.com

I love how you got the paint effect. I like the subject, too. This kind of mountain shot always appeals to me. It reminds me of a Buddhist temple shot I saw once in National Geographic, taken in Tibet. That one had more copses and less definable waterway than yours, but I think this still elicits that high-altitude feeling. Very cool.

The sky is my favorite part--it's got so much color and detail and yet it looks "right" as well as painted. A wonderful peaceful scene!

It was the stupa like structor on top of the building that caught my eye, almost like a buddhist monastery; very serene and magical. Also the purple spiritual colour adds to the magical atmosphere of the scene. dhama. :-)

Pure splendor! I like your vision of Paradise, Waheed. I think it is one many have. Everything looks perfect and peaceful. Bliss exudes from your painting. That is my joy at looking at this. But, I am draw to remember it is for another time as long as we humans continue to abuse one another and our environment. If stopped seeing everyone as the enemy, and started truly loving, imagine what would evolve. By enemy, I mean the broadest definition possible from nations to our neighbors, friends and family. Anything but a true love will keep the downward spiral of destruction moving. ;( It is a constant work for each of us to learn how to love, and do it! Hugs, Waheed And thank you for this beautiful and evocative work of art.

All your artwork is lovely and such a joy to view - the pinks in this scene are quite dramatic and pleasing, as is your vision and skill. CC

You are the master. This is breathtaking beauty and skill. The landscape, expecially the green areas and trees as me shaking my head is astonishment. Perfect, masterful art.

Absolute killer work again! How can you do that? I even can not draw a straight single line in artrage? I must repeat myself, you rock bud! :D The coloring of the vegetation and the mountainscape is lovely. If this place would be real i would sit there the whole day and watch. THanks for making such wonderful art and sharing it with us :).
