Description
At the beginning of the month, my boyfriend and I went out on a picnic at a park nearby. It had been quite a while since I'd gone to this park, and it was just a really nice time.
WE EVEN HAD A PICNIC BASKET!!!! That made me even more excited, I love baskets ^.^;;;
Anyway, there's a pond there with a fountain, and swimming in the pond are all sorts of turtles and fish and other wildlife (we saw some cranes, too). So there will be some pictures from that over the next couple of days. =)
This is a turle. Which, I figure, you already knew. Anyway, he kept poking his head out of the water at me.
This picture is actually zoomed in as far as I could get, even through the fronds, he was about six feet away.

Lol glad you enjoyed your basket lol. Great Shot, that strobe of light going down his face and into the water is perfect as it picks up his features brilliantly i don't know if that was fluke or intentional but excellent timing if it is a fluke.

Sounds like you and your boyfriend have such a grand time sharing nature and photography. LJ and I loved going on photo shoots, too.We enjoyed a picnic or two ourselves. And look at that marvelous and colorful turtle who posed so nicely for you. Animals always give such joy just by being themselves. :o) CC
