Nice crisp photo, I like the varying textures. However, to my eye, it looks a bit "flat" - perhaps a different angle on this could have better served to show off the layers in the...um...foliage? I don't really know what the stuff is! The highlight in the centre is interesting, in that it draws the eye into this "portal" - a very apt name.
