Description

This is for Jangled to alleviate the frustration. I rendered this as a landscape and then, while postworking, I switch it to portrait. Still not sure which I prefer, but I showed Mahray and he prefered the portrait one (as do I, I think). Check out coldsun2.jpg for the other version.

Cool work again but i do like the landscape version more.. When you use the landscape version and render it port. It can be a good one but the pov on the ship is a bit odd.. But top work!

That's really nice. I love back-lit spaceships. Actually, now I wish we'd lit your ship this nicely in Millennium Crisis! Great texture on it too.

That's what I'm talkin' about! I agree with you on the layout, but I think these ships are too fine to be left "in the dark". Thanks for indulging me!

They both look really good, Phil, but I'm more partial to the landscape, probably because it has a more cinematic feel. All the same, top notch work.

I like the POV in the portrait, and I think that it works this way because it frames the ship nicely; it kinda' has a book jacket/movie poster quality to it.

I vote for this one too. Great work, as always, but maybe your best.

I think this version is better than the landscape one. I have to agree with drac about the POV, for a departure I would picture more of the ship headed away from the planet, this seems more like an approach or a close pass than a departure. Love the ship!

ah, well see that's a moon which orbits the planet that the ship was in orbit around.

Your ships are awesome, they are all very unique, yet retain that classic, I dunno, what I call "70's book cover" ship quality.
