Description

My first ever posted MojoWorld picture. The planet is called Wizard World One because it's the first planet I've made using the Planet Wizard in MW 3 Pro. It uses usual library presets all extensively tweaked - I'd love to say I knew what I was doing but really I was just experimenting! The only thing I learned for sure is that MW is s l o w to render but well worth the wait. I modelled the ship in trueSpace 6.6 - she features in a few of my recent tS pictures. It's shadow, it's reflection and the flock of seagulls were added using the lightworks renderer in trueSpace 7.5. All and any comments most welcome. Thanks Stephen WZRD

Beautiful! It looks so real! I'm glad to see you are enjoying your MojoWorld. :) If this is what you get from just the Wizard, I can only imagine what you will come up with once you have delved into the program. Have fun!

Welcome aboard WZRD!!...Excellent first post as a Mojonaut!!....I agree with above..Your going to have fun man!!....^^...and as a hint or tip (not a gripe...^^..)you might find using a "clouds & mist" atmosphere works well for this kinda image....it gives you the ability to lay down a low mist in the distance..... BTW...Superb model import you have there!!

welcome onboard WZRD :) Excellent modelling work. Yes , mojos renderer can be slow but in many cases t depends on what you ae asking it to render...real reflections/refractions/ FULL shadows & redo blocks I have found to be some of the biggest culprits, well worth checking. As for not knowing what you are doing & simply experimenting...its often the best way to learn. Im a "dont read the manual" & dive in type but understanding some fundamentals helps as I have learnt oer time. Love the first image! :)
