Description

Happy weekend all. Thank you all for the great comments and congrats on my 200ths post it means a lots. I've always love B&W and sepia photography the best, but never think about taking it myself. But this shot just screamed b&w. Because the day was basicly grey and white. The sky was washed out, the ocean was grey ,the shells where white. Well you get the picture lol. Anyways I think it worked out pretty good. What do you think? Thanks for taking time out to stop by. Take care:0)bonita

Excellent composition! B&W is a perfect choice for this. I know how tough it is to get a decent shot of any sort of scenery around here, and you've taken something that's an obstacle and turned it into an asset! Who knew our white skies could ever look this great? :)

Oooops.. Missed your #200~ Congrats! And I miss those beaches, b+W works in that area quite often :) I used to dig for clams when the tide was down in Edmonds and Whidbey ..

the pov you chose is outstanding Bonita.I always thought about having a shell collection but then I got several very expensive shells that some one left behind when they moved and now all they do is collect dust

Everything about this photo is right... you've nailed the composition and point of view and the choice of black and white and the contrast are spot on. Excellent work.

This is a wonderful shot .. and on another level .. there is a little man, perhaps one of the wee folk? climbing on that piece of driftwood!

I don't have anything original to say but I love love LOVE this photo. I've always thought you were good but I'd never really sifted through your gallery before . . . you're better than good, you're amazing. And I'm not saying that because you Favorited my image, I'm saying that because I mean it. If you hadn't been great, I wouldn't have said anything at all.
