I loved all your thoughts. I do hope you had fun, its nice to just be silly sometimes. This is the picture I was trying to take. There were 5 gosslings just behind the rocks. Mom and Dad being very protective weren't letting us humans get close. I used an outline and cartoon filter to define as this photo came out blurred because my dog had pulled the leash to get at the ducks. I don't have a zoom lens (i only have autofocus, ohhhhh....Santa!)and I got this brilliant idea. LOL! I figured if I can't get next to them, I'd bring them to me. Along with my camera I've taken to carrying my binoculars with me. Soooooo....I put my camera lens in the binoculars, now I have to tell you...what I didn't count on was that I would have to still be able to look out the other side. Between being precariously perched on a sharp rock and my dog now trying to make a run for Marvin the Muskrat (yes I've named almost all the animals, including the bats) who came out to see what all the commotion was I nearly fell in the water. Yeah, yeah, you all think I'm a lunatic. But hey, my thinking was maybe scads of years ago this is how the zoom lens came about. And sometimes its fun to experiment. Thanks for your patience and tolerating me so well and for all the great comments. Love you guys.......MUCHO GRANDE!!

So what name have you given to that big green duck in the upper left corner shadows? Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with my comments. I've been super busy and I let them stack up. Then, when I have a chance to catch up, I come by and do them all at once. So I tend to come in spurts you see. Anyway, nice pic. I never tried binoculars with a camera. Actually, doubt it would work because of the focus depth. Looks like a great place and glad your out and about. Hugs and kisses from Dave :^)
