Description

I know the render isn't the best quality...but I'm just learning! I was experimenting with importing a modified terrain and I think it worked OK....any tips or comments would be appreciated. ;)

Arrhhh!! I can see that you are getting your teeth around Terragan. The textures (especially the water) are amazing and you can get a real feeling of expansive scale with the images. Well done Kate

What I find interesting about this image is that the surface has taken on a metalic quality.. Very interesting.. The clouds need work tho, try not using the 3D effect on them..

Excellent work for your first time, Kate! I see you're getting the hang of it pretty quickly. The clouds could use a bit of work, butr the composition and the idea looks great! Way to go!

Nice work Kate, I am not a big fan of Terragen, but this is really kinda cool.

I think the clouds look awesome, but that's just me. the whole thing looks amazing, love the extruding stones in the middle, looks like a temple to the heavens...great work. I also think the render quality suits the purposes of this image fine...but like I said ,that's just me ;)

Yes, the clouds are to thick. But the whole picture looks good. I like the idea and the terrain is good (really one of your first tg-pics?). If i see how fast you are learning terragen i would say the next picture becomes amazing.
